Khimki demolished Dynamo
Khimki was close to repeating of the own scoring record in the game against Dynamo on Saturday. Moscow Region club completely outscored Dynamo 95:66 in the PBL Championship Round 11.
Vitaly Fridzon scored 19 points for the winners while Sergey Monia followed him with 17 points. Before 2:12 to an end of the final quarter the score was 93:62 and Khmiki could repeat own record made in the game against Enisey (102:69). But Planinic, Fridzon and young Alexey Karpeko missed their 3-points shots.
Nikita Shabalkin scored 20 points in the losing effort.
Khimki took fifth place in the PBL table and has a good chance to take a higher position in the case of victory over Triumph in the postponed Round 3 game which will be held in Khimki on February 2.
McCarty repeated the season value record for a player in one game.
Veremeenko, Vialtsev, Beverley, Siskauskas and Wilkinson became the most valuable BEKO PBL Championship players in February.
Chalmers, Dragovic, Wilkinson, Beverley, Shved became the most valuable BEKO PBL Championship Round 15 players.
