Statistical review of the BEKO PBL Round 16
Outstanding Alexey Surovtsev, fourth Lonnie Baxter’s double-double, Loko players leading in the steals parameter and other facts in the Round 16 BEKO PBL statistical review.
2. Spartak guard Patrick Beverley made second double-double in two games straight. Also he made the League anti-record with the lowest two-pointers shooting percentage – only 8% with 1 of 13.
4. Enisey center Lonnie Baxter made a fourth double-double in the season. This is the best result in the League. Dynamo center Alexey Zhukanenko made a third double-double in the season. He is the second who has done it in the season.
5. Krasanye Krylya finished Enisey home five games winning row. At the moment only two clubs has been defeated at home once – Lokomotiv-Kuban and UNICS.
7. Lokomotiv-Kuban guard Alexey Surovtsev made 7 steals in the game against CSKA. This is a new record in the League. The previous record – 6 steals - was made ot repeated by Dijon Thompson from Spartak, Gerald Green from Krasnye Krylya and Loko guard Leonel Chalmers. Surovtsev could make a quadruple-double in the game with CSKA. He scored 14 points, made 7 steals, 8 assists and 9 rebounds.
12. Triumph guard Egor Vialtsev made 12 assists in the game against Dynamo. This is the third result in the League. The record belongs to Enisey guard Marcus Williams who made 16 assists in the game against Triumph. Spartak playmaker Anton Ponkrashov hold the second place with 15 assists he made in the game against Dynamo.
158. Lokomotiv-Kuban players made more steals than any other teams in the League – 158.
244. Henry Domercant has scored 244 points in the season. This is the highest result. Marcus Williams from Enisey scored 241 points, Lokomotiv-Kuban Mike Wilkinson scored 235 points, Triumph Egor Vialtsev – 233, Khimki guard Keith Langford – 231. 13 players has already scored more than 200 points.
McCarty repeated the season value record for a player in one game.
Veremeenko, Vialtsev, Beverley, Siskauskas and Wilkinson became the most valuable BEKO PBL Championship players in February.
Chalmers, Dragovic, Wilkinson, Beverley, Shved became the most valuable BEKO PBL Championship Round 15 players.
