Lampe and Zhukanenko won the BEKO PBL MVP of March
UNICS and Dynamo centers Maciej Lampe and Alexey Zhukanenko earned the BEKO PBL MVP of March title with 22.3 average rating points each.
Lampe played in three games in March for UNICS and earned the MVP title of the Round 18 with fantastic 36 rating points he earned by making 29 points and 15 rebounds. In average he made 19.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots in a game.
Alexey Zhukanenko made three double-doubles in three games he participated in March. In average he made 17,3 points and 11,7 rebounds in a game. Also he made opponents players 5 times commit fouls on him and if he didn’t make 4 fouls and 3.3 turnovers in a game he could be the only leader of March.
Another two players gained the same rating. Enisey players Dragan Labovic and Lonnie Baxter gained 22 rating points. Labovic in a three games made 17.3 points in average with 19 of 19 one-point throws, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 steals. Baxter scored 16 points, made 9 rebounds, 1.3 assists in average and made only 1 turnover in three games.
Keith Langford took the fifth place in the March MVP raing with 21.5 points. Khimki guard played only in two games with Triumph and CSKA. He made 38 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in these games and also 11 times made opponents players commit fouls on him.
Symbolic five.
Besides Maciej Lampe, Alexey Zhukanenko and Keith Langford there are two players who entered in the symbolic five of March. Spartak guard Patrick Beverley gained the highest rating among players who play on the first positions. Beverley scored 16 points, made 2.3 assists and 2 steals in average in a three games. His rating is 17.7.
UNICS forward Kelly McCarty took place in the starting five on the third position. McCarty made 19.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2 steals in average in three games. His rating is 20.7.
