Statistical review of the BEKO PBL Round 15
New Loko scoring record, 333 3-pointer throws from Khimki and Ivan Paunic one-pointer record and other facts in the BEKO PBL Round 15review.
1. Spartak defender Patrick Beverley is the only player who made a double-double in the Round 15. His teammate Nicola Dragivic finished the game against Krasnye Krylya without one rebound to make a double-double. At the moment 24 players has made 34 double-doubles in the championship.
3. UNICS has only 3 defeats in the season in 14 games. Last time UNICS was defeated by Dynamo in Moscow on January 22.
6. UNICS has 6 home victories straight. Kazan club lost at home only once to Spartak in the BEKO PBL Round 1. Dynamo Moscow is the most «hospitable» team of the League. Dynamo gained only one victory at home. Over UNICS.
7. Krasnye Krylya center Alexander Dedushkin repeated BEKO PBL record by making seven offrebounds. Earier the same result was made by Andrey Trushkin for Triumph, Dynamo Nikita Shabalkin and Lokomotiv-Kuban forward Mike Wilkinson.
64. Triumph players made 64 blocked-shots in the season. This is the highest result among all clubs. And more than half of total blocked shots amount was made by Sergey Varlamov – 18 and Valery Likhodey – 17.
103. Nizhniy Novgorod defender Ivan Paunic is the first player who made more than hundred one-point throws. Paunic scored 77 of 103 one-pointers.
104. Lokomotiv-Kuban made a new league scoring record with 104 points in the game with Enisey. This is the second time in the season when a team scores more than hundred points. Earlier the record was made by Khimki, who smashed Enisey 102:69.
157. CSKA Moscow has the best difference between points – 157. CSKA players scored 1161 points and got 1004 points in an own net. Triumph has the worst difference – «-115».
333. Khimki players make 3-point throws more often than other club’s players do. The Moscow region players made 333 long distance throws and netted 132 three-pointers. Khimki forward Sergey Monia leads with 35 netted three point throws of 78.
512. Lokomotiv players is the first who made more than 500 rebounds in the season. They made 512 rebounds – 325 defrebounds and 187 offrebounds. CSKA players made 491 rebounds and Krasnye Krylya made 487.
McCarty repeated the season value record for a player in one game.
Veremeenko, Vialtsev, Beverley, Siskauskas and Wilkinson became the most valuable BEKO PBL Championship players in February.
Chalmers, Dragovic, Wilkinson, Beverley, Shved became the most valuable BEKO PBL Championship Round 15 players.
