In a PBL championship game BC Spartak-Primorye at home faced BC UNICS Kazan and suffered a defeat - 66:78. The guest team took a lead in the second quarter and didn't allow the Vetra's squad to recover. One of the leaders of Primorye Oguchi played only 15 minutes and scored 2 points. So UNICS scored the last victory in PBL championship. Primorye has one more game in the tournament.

In a PBL championship game BC Triumph Lyubertsy at home faced UNICS Kazan and scored a victory at last minutes - 79:72. In a home team Tywain McKee did his best with 23 points and Sergey Karasev added 20 points and 6 rebounds. As for UNICS, Petr Samoilenko played a great game with 18 points (he scored 4 triples out of 7 attempts).

In a PBL championship game UNICS Kazan at home faced BC Enisey from Krasnoyarsk and scored a very confident victory - 73:58. In the second quarter mr. Eremin's ream made a huge spurt and took a lead. It was enough for overall win. Kaimakoglou did his best in 18 points and Veremeenko - in 17 for UNICS, in BC Enisey Rich scored 15 points.

On Wednesday, March 13, 2013 three Russian clubs played return Eurocup quarterfinal games. Lokomotiv-Kuban crashed KK Buductnost Voli and will meet with Valencia Basket. UNICS Kazan won but didn't enter play-offs due to the total difference on the sum of two games. Spartak SPb was down in Kiev by Budivelnik and had to say goodbye to Eurocup. So it will be only one Russian representative in the Eurocup play-offs - Loko.

Three Russian clubs took part in Eurocup quarterfinal games. Lokomotiv-Kuban and Spartak St Petersburg scored confident victories and UNICS  Kazan was beaten on the road by Valencia Basket.

In a VTB United League game (the result takes into account of PBL championship) UNICS Kazan at home faced BC Krasnye Krylia. Despite equal game in the first half of the meeting, the home team made a huge jerk after a big break that determined the outcome of the battle. UNICS won - 74:66. Ian Vougioukas scored 18 points, Chuck Eidson added 14 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds in Kazan team. In KK Chester Simmons scored 20 points.

In a PBL championship game PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban in Krasnodar faced BC UNICS Kazan. Unproductive figures after first quarter allowed to suggest that it would be a viscous match. Despite smart game of the home team in the first half, after big beak UNICS took a lead and in the very end was more successful despite only 11 points in the last quarter. Eventually Lokomotiv lost to UNICS - 58:59. Maric scored 12 points, Calathes - 11 points and 7 assists. In UNICS Eidson added 11 points.

On February 19, 2013 UNICS Kazan on the road faced Ratiopharm Ulm and won in a bitter striggle at the last seconds - 79:77. It advanced the Kazan team to the first place in Last-16 group L. In the quarterfinal UNICS will meet with Valencia Basket.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2013 four Russian teams played their Eurocup Last-16 games. PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar, BC Triumph Lyubertsy and UNICS Kazan scored victories and BC Spartak St Petersburg lost. In fact, three clubs except BC Triumph has already entered Eurocup play-offs.

In a VTB United  League game (the result takes into accout of PBL championship) BC UNICS Kazan hosted BC Khimki Moscow Region and scored a victory - 76:70. Having taken a lead in the beginning of the meeting the home team didn't allow the yellow-blue to recover. In UNICS Kaimakoglou scored 21 points, Vougioukas - 13, Eidson - 12. In BC Khimki - Fridzon - 14, Monya - 14, Planinic - 13.

On Thursday, February 7, 2013 in a PBL game CSKA Moscow at its home court faced UNICS Kazan and scored a confident victory. A huge team effort in the third quarter (35:14) allowed the Messina's team to feel easily before the end of the game. Nevertheless UNICS didn't let down and tried to recover. But it was not enough for the success. Nenad Krstic scored 16 points, Milos Teodosic and Vladimir Micov - in 14 points each. In UNICS Chuck Eidson added 26 points.

On Wednesday, January 30, 2013 four Russian clubs played Eurocup games. Lokomotiv-Kuban, Spartak St Petersburg and Triumph Lyubertsy scored home victories and UNICS Kazan was outlasted by Crvena Zvezda on the road.

In PBL championship hame UNICS Kazan at home played with Spartak-Primorye and lost at last seconds. The decisive throw of Gillenwater determined the outcome of the game. As a result - third victory of Primorye in PBL. Best scorers: in UNICS - Kaimakoglou (16), Veremeenko (14). In Spartak-Primorye - Gillenwater - 23, Delaney - 17, Zabelin - 15.

On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 four Russian clubs played Eurocup Last-16 week 3 games. Lokomotiv-Kuban, Spartak St Petersburg and UNICS Kazan had no problems with their opponents and BC Triumph Lyubertsy failed.

On Wednesday, January 16, 2013 four Russian clubs competed in Eurocup Last-16 week 2 games. All squads played at home. Spartak St Petersburg confidently defeated Cajasol Seville, Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar swat away Stelmet Zielona Gora. As for BC Triumph Lyubertsy it lost to BC Budivelnik Kiev and UNICS Kazan was defeated by Ratiopharm Ulm.

On Sunday, January 13, 2013 BC Spartak St Petersburg at home faced UNICS Kazan. The game was held within the bounds of VTB United League (the result takes into account of PBL championship). The Jure Zdovc team confidently won - 84:68. Joshua Carter scored 16 points, Zakhary Wright - 15 points ans 7 rebounds. In UNICS Nikita Shabalkin added 22 points, Charles Eidson - 14 points.

On Wednesday, January 9, 2013 four Russia clubs played Eurocup Last-16 games. UNICS Kazan defeated Galatasaray Medical Park, Lokomotiv-Kuban swat away BC Spartak St Petersburg and BC Triumph Lyubertsy was crashed by KK Buducnost Voli.

On Friday, December 21, 2012 UNICS Kazan within the bounds of PBL championship hosted BC Triumph Lyubertsy and scored a very confident victory. From the very beginning the home team took the lead and didn't allow BC Triumph to show its best. Guests' leaders Tywain McKee and Kyle Landry because of injuries didn't take part in the game. In UNICS Kazan Kaimakoglou scored 19 points, in BC Triumph Sergey Karasev added 22 points and 5 assists to become the best player of the Moscow Region team.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2012 Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar, UNICS Kazan, Spartak St Petersburg and BC Triumph Lyubertsy played on the road last Eurocup regular season games and all scored victories. Loko beat Trefl Sopot, UNICS swat away Telenet Oostende, Spartal swept out Cholet Basket and BC Triumph in the extra time overcame Artland Dragons. Eventually all Russian clubs entered Eurocup Last 16.

On Wednesday, December 5, 2012 five Russian clubs competed in European cups. BC Triumph and BC Spartak St Petersburg scored confident victories within the bounds of Eurocup, BC Krasnye Krylia - in EuroChallenge. As for UNICS Kazan and PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban, they suddenly were defeated at home by the teams from Poland and Ukraine accordingly.

In a VTB United League game (the result takes into account of PBL championship) UNICS Kazan in Samara played with the local team of BC Krasnye Krylia. Thereby the Samara team interrupted the nine-straight-series of victorious matches. Best players of the home team became Chester Simmons and Nikita Balashov (10 points each). In the roster of UNICS Kostas Kaimakoglou scored 15 points and Ian Vougioukas - 14 points.

On November 28, 2012 five Russian clubs played another games in European cups. BC Triumph Lyubertsy, UNICS Kazan and BC Spartak St Petersburg won their Eurocup matches, BC Krasnye Krylia succeeded in EuroChallenge. Unfortunately PBC Lokomotuv-Kuban was swat away in the road by Galatasaray Medical Park.

On November 25, 2012 within the bounds of PBL Championship UNICS in Kazan played with the current Russian champion CSKA Moscow. The guests got the leadership from the beginning of the game and didn't give initiative to the opponent. As a result - a confident victory of the Army team and no losses in the PBL standings. As for UNICS it has only 1 win and 4 losses now.

On November 21, 2012 four Russian clubs played Eurocup regular season week 3 games and succeeded. Spartak St Petersburg swat away Ratiopharm Ulm, PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban destroyed Galatasaray Medical Park, UNICS Kazan on the road defeated Panionios BC Athens and BC Triumph Lyubertsy left no chances to VEF Riga.

On November 14, 2012 five Russian clubs participated in European Cups' games: Lokomotiv-Kuban, UNICS Kazan, Spartak St Petersburg and Triumph Lyubertsy - in Eurocup, BC Krasnye Krylia Samara - in EuroChallenge. All of them made great strides toward next steps of the tournaments: Loko beat Trefl Sopot, UNICS was better than Telenet Oostende, Spartak defeated Cholet Basket, Triumph succeeded in the overtime vs Artland Dragons and Krasnye Krylia won over CSU Asesoft Ploiesti.

BC Khimki at its home court faced UNICS within the bounds of VTB United League (the result of the game takes into account of PBL championship) and very confidently won over the Kazan team with the score of 85:74. Zoran Planinic added 18 points, Vitaly Fridzon - 14 and James Augustine - 13 points and 6 rebounds. Kostas Kaimakoglou stayed with 20 points and became the best scorer of the overall match.

The modern history of Loco can't please fans with the victories over UNICS Kazan. And this time basketball players didn't manage to break bad tradition - Evgeny Pashutin's former team was stronger at home court: 75:47 in favor of UNICS.

Spartak St.-Petersburg beats away UNICS Kazan 52:51 in the regular season of VTB United League, the result of which also goes to the credit of the regular Russian Championship BEKO PBL. It was the second losses Aco Petrovic`s team in the BEKO PBL.

On Saturday, September 1, BC Khimki genereal director Viktor Bychkov has been voted the Head of the Board of the Professioanl Basketball League, succeeding Andrey Vatutin at this position.

On Monday, July 16th the BEKO PBL Board meeting took place. It has discussed the scheme of the upcoming season, appointed general director in charge and approved the agreement with the VTB United League.

UNICS secured their second win over Spartak at home 73:62, winning the 5th place series.  

UNICS took 1-0 series lead over Spartak for the 5th place with 81:75 win. Game 2 will take place in Kazan on the 19th of May.

UNICS will face either Spartak or Krasnye Krylya in the 5th place final. The Kazan side beat Spartae-Primorie in a tough road game in Vladivostok 74:60.

UNIKS Kazan beat Spartak-Primorye Vladivostok 72:62 in the game 1 of the semi-finals for 5-8 places play-offs BEKO PBL Russian Championship. UNICS is one step away from 5th place finals. The second game will be on May 6 in Vladivostok.

BC Triumph’s key player Davon Jefferson has been named the MVP of the BEKO PBL regular season 2011/2012. Also the first and second all-PBL teams have been named.

On Tuesday April 24th the BEKO PBL regular season has finished up. After the games in Krasnoyarsk, Kazan and Moscow the semi-finalists of both 1-4 and 5-8 play-offs became clear.

UNICS Kazan outscored Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar by 101:75 in the last regular season game in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. UNICS finished in 6th place in standings and will play in 5-8 play-offs with Spartak-Primorye. Lokomotiv-Kuban now waiting for the battle CSKA – Khimki, which will determine their opponent in the semi-final of 1-4 play-offs.

Spartak Saint Petersburg has secured 5rd spot in the standings of the BEKO PBL regular season after UNICS Kazan outscored Krasnye Krylya Samara by 84:68 away from home. UNICS, Spartak-Primorye and Krasnye Krylya will fight for 6-8 places in standings.

On Monday 16th of April during the BEKO PBL Board meeting the representatives of the clubs have approved the concept of the United tournament of BEKO PBL and VTB League, which recently received full support from the Euroleague.  Also the scheme and dates for the current season play-offs were approved. 

UNICS Kazan outscored Spartak-Primorye Vladivostok by 81:64 in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. Spartak-Primorye lost all chances to play in the 1-4 play-offs, as well as UNICS Kazan, Spartak Saint Petersburg and Krasnye Krylya Samara. This 4 teams will play in 5-8 places play-offs. CSKA Moscow, Khimki Moscow Region, Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar and Triumph Lubertsy will play for the medals.

Khimki Moscow Region beats UNICS Kazan by 75:58 for the second time in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. UNICS stays out of 1-4 places play-offs, while Khimki won 15th game and now waiting for the battle with CSKA for first place in the standings.

Khimki Moscow Region beats UNICS Kazan away from home 73:65 in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. Rimas Kurtinaitis team keeps fighting for the first place in the standings. UNICS though has not lost chance for 1th-4th places play-offs yet.

Spartak has gained big victory over UNICS Kazan with a 24-point margin. So Jurij Zdovc's team now has advantage over UNCIS in the regular BEKO PBL Russian Championship.

On Wednesday March the 14 during BEKO PBL Board meeting Andrey Vatutin was voted to represent the League in the group whcih will control creature of the United tournament. This group will consist of delegates from the Ministry for sport, Russian Basketball Federation and VTB League.

It was only the first quarter when UNICS stayed in touch with their arch-rivals CSKA, the Kazan side won it 21-16. But then the visitors fixed their firm wall defense and took driver's seat. Led by magnificent Andrei Kirilenko CSKA stormed to their 12th victory of the BEKO PBL regular season. UNICS has made 21 turnovers in this game.

Strugging Nizhniy Novgorod has produced a major upset in the BEKO PBL championship with a 82-77 win over UNICS. The Kazan side seemed to be in control after first two quarters holding a 9-pont lead, but backed by their fans NN regrouped and won the following quarter by 11, and then was victorious in the nervous end. UNICS has now suffered 5 straight losses in all competitions.

BC Triumph has increased its chances to make the semis of the BEKO PBL championship significantly after beating UNICS in Kazan 76:73. The visitors were down by 6 after the first half, but it was the third quarter that became crucial. Triumph managed to hold UNICS to just 6 points and won it 21-6. The game went to an exciting end, but the Moscow region side kept the lead and Sergey Karasev made all the decisive free throws.

UNICS Kazan bounced back form last week's loss to Triumph overcome Enisey away from home. Evgeny Pashutin's men were in control throughout the game but let the lead slip in the final quarter. The home side managed to cut the gap to just one point, but UNICS kept their compousre to get their 5th win of the BEKO PBL championship.

BC Triumph has increased its winning games to 6 games after beating UNICS at home 71-61. The visitors entered the game lacking energy and agression which cost them as they were trailing by 17 at half. Dmitry Kulagin was on fire and shut the buzzer with a great long range shot at the the end of the 2nd quarter. UNICS did cut the gap to 10 later on, but with Lyday and Domercant having an off game, couldn't find a leader to alter the course of the game.
