Davon Jefferson – MVP of the regular season
BC Triumph’s key player Davon Jefferson has been named the MVP of the BEKO PBL regular season 2011/2012. Also the first and second all-PBL teams have been named.

Guards
Zoran Planinic, Khimki
Zoran Planinic is having an absolutely amazing season. This year he has become an influential player for his club and coach Kurtinaitis has valued his importance as “70% of the team”. Planinic helped Khimki to their first ever European trophy – ULEB Eurocup, where Zoran has been named the MVP of the Final Four.
The Croat averaged 12.8 points, 4.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 14 games of the BEKO PBL regular season.
Patrick Beverley, Spartak
For the second season in a row Beverley keeps being one of the top guards in the BEKO PBL for the second season in a row. Last season Patrick also made the first all-PBL team. This year the American was amongst two main contenders for the MVP award.
Beverley averaged 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.1 points in all 18 games of the BEKO PBL regular season.
Forwards
Andrei Kirilenko, CSKA
The return of AK-47 to Russian championship has brought unforgettable basketball memories for all the fans of the game. Having this player in the roster gave CSKA a huge advantage and allowed them to reach decisive stage of each tournament they took part in. Kirilenko also has been named best defender of this Euroleague’s season.
Andrei missed six games of the regular season because of the injury, however his average stas still were impressive – 12.6 points, 6 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 20.9 index rating.
Jeremiah Massey, Lokomotiv-Kuban
Jeremiah is one of the rebounders in the League, key play for Lokomotiv-Kuban. He averaged 8.1 boards per game, adding 14.6 points and 2.2 steals. His average index rating was 20.
Center & MVP
Davon Jefferson, Triumph
Jefferson has become a real star of the BEKO PBL championship this season. One of the most exciting players of the League, he’s been noticed for his offensive skills and amazing dunks.
Statistically he was absolutely the best player in the League. Jefferson’s set the new record for the biggest index rating in one game – 53. DJ averaged 20.8 points per game, 7.5 rebounds and 2.6 boards per game.
But Jefferson main achievement of the season is the contribution to Triumph’s wins and their 3rd place in the regular standings. Triumph will have a chance to win medals this season.

Torey Thomas, Spartak-Primorie. Average stats: 15.9 points, 4.9 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 18.6 index rating.
Vitaly Fridzon, Khimki. Average stats: 13.7 points, 2.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 14.3 index rating.
Forwards
Sergey Karasev, Triumph. Average stats: 13.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 15.4 index rating.
Viktor Khryapa, CSKA. Average stats: 10.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 17.9 index rating.
Center
Vladimir Veremeenko, UNICS. Average stats: 9.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 12.8 index rating.
