Pavel Astakhov appointed PBL General Director

On Saturday, September 1, the Board meeting of the Professional Basketball League has appointed Pavel Astakhov as the League's General Director for the upcoming season. Astakhov has been in charge of this position after the escape of Ginas Rutkauskas.

The clubs' representatives also voted for the regulations of the upcoming championships, schedule for the main and youth championships, the lsit of referees. All the documents will be sent to the Russian Basketball Federation for the approval.
