Lyday won the BEKO PBL MVP of the Round 14
Last 14 Round game between Enisey and UNICS finished with Kazan victory. Terrell Lyday made an unbelievably fantastic achievement for his team with two League records. UNICS guard scored 39 points and made 45 ranking points.
After first half of the game Lyday had already scored 32 points – more than Enisey Baxter, Williams and Labovic taken together for that moment. For 26 minutes 43 seconds he performed on the playground Lyday erupted with record 39 points, 5 steals, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. The previous scoring record was made by Marcus Williams from Enisey in the game against Nizhniy Novgorod in December.
Moreover Lyday renewed the ranking record of the League with 45 points he made in the game. Four players have made 40 points ranking before – Henry Domercant, Lonnie Baxter, Patrick Beverley and Lonnie Baxter – but no one could make more.
Second place in the MVP rating belongs to Enisey center Lonnie Baxter. UNICS players could do nothing to resist him. Baxter scored 23 points, made 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot. His rating is 30.
Alexey Zhukanenko took the third place. Dynamo center made a double-double in the game against Krasnye Krylya. Despite of Dynamo defeat in Samara Zhukanenko scored 24 points, made 13 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist and 1 slam dunk. His rating is 29.
Fourth place was taken by CSKA forward Ramunas Siskauskas who scored 19 points in the game against Spartak. Also he made 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 assist. His rating is 27 points.
Triumph guard Egor Vialtsev is on the fifth place. The player scored 25 points in the game against Nizhniy Novgorod. Also he made 6 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 dunk. Unfortunately he made 5 fouls and 5 turnovers. So his rating is 26.
The symbolic five of the Round 14 consists of four players from the Top Five and Spartak guard Patrick Beverley who became the best among playmakers. Beverley scored 16 points, made 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 dunk. His rating is 25.
