Gerald Green became the MVP of the BEKO Slam-Dunk Contest. Krasnye Krylya forward got a victory over Triumph forward Valery Likhodey in the additional attempt.
Four players participated in the preliminary round. Each of them made two attempts which were assessed by five members of jury. Nizhniy Novgorod forward Artem Yakovenko and CSKA guard Jamont Gordon eliminated in the preliminary round. Green and Likhodey got in the final. First and second attempts were assessed by jury as equal so both competitors made third attempts to solve the winner. In the additional attempt the winner was considered by the audience, which chose Gerald Green.
